2013-Prensent – Mount St. Joseph University – Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include teaching intermediate and advanced graphic design classes.

1997-2013 –  Grannan Design, LTD. – Partner / Creative Director / Special Projects Director.  I own, and manage an art and design firm in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Responsibilities include: Concepting and art direction of advertising, design and promotions for GD clients. Translation of complex author and educational information into clear and useful student/teacher textbooks and communications, innovative presentations to clients, and managing vendor resources. Keep design within brand identity when applicable. Work with printers through all production stages to eliminate surprises during the printing.  Stay current with knowledge of electronic and other media that could benefit GD in all aspects of production and design strategies.

2012-2013 –  Antonelli College – Adjunct Instructor. Responsibilities include teaching foundation and intermediate graphic design classes.

2010-2012 –  Mississippi State University – Visiting Assistant Professor. My prior experience in graphic design and fine art enabled me to be an effective teacher in Foundation design, computing, color theory and typography as well as fine art drawing I & II, life drawing and painting.

2014 – Collaborative AIGA Conference logistics with University of Cincinnati and Mount St. Joseph.

2013 – Collaborating with Dr. Jeremy Engel.

2012 – Collaborating with Dr. Jeremy Engel who is forming a task force through St. Elizabeth Hospital to fight, treat and prevent the destructive force of heroin in our community. I am part of the Impact and Response Workgroup whose purpose is to be the visual representative through artwork and design.

2012 – Presentation at Antonelli College in Cincinnati Ohio, about the importance of design principles and how they apply to Graphic Design and Fine Art Foundations.

2012 – Big Pig Gig through ArtWorks Cincinnati! Designed and painted a 6ft fiberglass pig for the Integrative Medicine Foundation. Unveiling of pig at 2012 World Choir Games in Cincinnat, Ohio.

2012 – Procured Depot Gallery, curated Pastries & Candy drawing exhibit, Mississippi

2012 – Collaboration with a Northern Kentucky grass roots organization in support of smoke-free indoor public places.  The mission is to convince legislators of Kentucky to adopt clean air policy.   My art is being used vehicle to inspire supporters in a state that has significant opposition.
